Today's picture is a hand tinted photograph of a caravan of Camels in the Sinai Desert in Egypt. I love this picture as it captures the excitement and adventure of the nomadic life of these people 100 years ago.

Neat photo, I like the hand tinting. I wonder who the English dressed chap is in the center?
ReplyDeleteRegarding the nomadic experience, I would think backpacking would come closest in our day and age. It is very freeing to travel with your home and essentials on your back, although the daily quest for water can be challenging.

Riding on camels and looking for water and places of rest! Oh makes me so grateful for my home. Love the photo. Nice hand tinting on it as well.
